Part 6 already?! How time flies! I’m so excited for this edition because I honestly thought tracking macros was an impossible task for me. But i’ve proved myself wrong and I’m so happy with the results so far. A week of tracking with my new coach Katie and i’ve lost 1% body fat already, slow and steady wins the race but it’s not just about the stats.. i’m feeling so much better and leaner already (hello holiday shopping!)
So the macro tracking will definitely continue and I will keep you all posted on the progress I make over the next few weeks and how I manage tracking in the busy summer months with social events and holidays, proving that it’s not as difficult as it may seem to be. As far as the mental impact of tracking goes, I was concerned it would get obsessive and make me worry about what I was eating but it’s been far from that… knowing that a biscuit or some chocolate fits into my macros because i’ve planned them well for the rest of the day means I feel no guilt at all, and the increase in carbs has left me bursting with energy!
