My favourite cookbooks

Hi everyone,

Today I thought i’d share with you my favourite cookbooks which I use for inspiration all the time – I don’t always follow the recipes exactly but use them for inspiration depending on what foods I have in the fridge. I have loads of cookbooks in my cupboard but there are some definite standouts for me. Here are my favourites:

  1. Clean Eating Alice – The Body Bible

This has to be right at the top, i’ve made nearly every recipe in the book because they are just so easy but also adaptable. None of the recipes take very long at all but they’re all packed with flavour and nutrients. One thing I love about cooking with natural ingredients is the energy you get from eating real food.. it sounds so corny but I really notice a difference!

My personal favourite recipes are:

Butternut squash and crispy parma ham squeak

Mexican style spicy sweet potato and chicken bowl

2. Jamie Oliver’s Everyday Superfoods

This is such a versatile book which will impress everyone in your family – there are no restricted foods and everything is easy to get hold of. It is also less expensive than the ingredients you need for some other books which means you can manage on a much lower budget!

My favourite:

Crispy Sea Bass with pea, mint and asparagus mash

3. Deliciously Ella

For sweet treats I love the first Deliciously Ella book – full of delicious goodies which contain natural ingredients so make you feel good as well as tasting good!

My favourite:

Sweet potato brownies
