It’s been another week of recipe creation with Pics Peanut Butter and I have the next half of delicious ideas for you from N to Z! Here goes…
N is for nutty granola – I used to always buy granola until I started making it and realised how much better it is when it’s homemade, you can control exactly what goes into it and make it as nutty as you like! I make mine with coconut oil, peanut butter, honey, oats, dried fruit, nuts and seeds, cacao nibs and desiccated coconut.
O is for Oats – because it’s just the perfect topping!
P is for Protein Pancakes – the peanut butter can be added to the mixture itself or simply drizzled over the top of the pancakes, either way it makes them taste great!
Q is for Quinoa and spicy peanut sauce – a great side dish or you could add chicken or fish to make it into a main meal, making a sauce with peanut butter, chilli, garlic, coconut amino/soy sauce and sesame oil!
R is for Reeses – a version with much less refined sugar without compromising on flavour, check out my recipe here, you can easily substitute the almond butter for peanut.
S is for Stir fry – One of the easiest dinners you can make, chuck everything in a pan with a little chilli, garlic, honey to sweeten, peanut butter and coconut amino and 5 minutes later dinner is ready!
T is for Thai fish burgers – Blend your cooked and cooled fish with coconut amino, PB, garlic, spring onion and an egg then bring together into pattie shapes, fry off in a pan until golden brown.
U is for under the grill – because it would be rude not to honour tradition… grilled PB and Jelly sandwich made with chia jam, you can find the recipe for that here.
V is for Vegetable and Chicken PB soup – sounds strange but stick with me here.. this adds just a hint of subtle but delicious flavours, you can find the recipe here.
W is for With a Spoon – one of the BEST ways to consume this delightful food
X is for Xmas present – it’s scraping the barrel I know but it does begin with X and if you were to get any PB loving friends or family some Pics goodies for christmas I am sure you would be their favourite person ever (and if your friends and family don’t love PB, show them this!)
Y is for Yoghurt topper – This comes back to the flexbowl idea, yoghurt is a great base as it’s packed with protein and PB is great just drizzled over the top
Z is for Zoats – coming at you with a guest post from Rachel at Healthy and Psyched, how good do these zoats look?
So that’s it! I hope you enjoyed my round up of the A-Z of Peanut Butter – i’ve loved creating so many recipes with Pics and getting to eat them all afterwards! Some of the recipes are already up on my blog and some will be up over the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled and let me know which ones you’d like to see!
