September favourites

It’s autumn! Can you believe it, what an exciting month we’ve had. Despite the weather being somewhat greyer than usual for a September, this month has been so full of fun stuff which I can’t wait to share. It has been a month since we moved into our new home so we’ve definitely been kept busy but it’s starting to feel like home so it’s all worthwhile!

Les Mills On Demand

One thing I’ve realised this month is that some weeks, you are just not going to be able to get to the gym 6 mornings for a great workout. Sometimes you have to compromise in order to fit things in and so I recently decided to sign up to Les Mills On Demand. The Les Mills classes at my local gym are always fully booked and aren’t always at convenient times for work so I often miss them, but I love a good Combat session for reducing stress or GRIT for getting a good sweat on. Les Mills On Demand is an absolute bargain at only £10 per month, which is only a fraction of what a gym membership costs, yet you have access to hundreds of videos in lots of different Les Mills styles and you can do them whenever it suits you.

What I also love is the extra sessions they have online such as mindfulness and vinyasa yoga, which is great for if you just want to relax! It is honestly one of the greatest fitness investments I have ever made.

Yoghurt has to be one of my favourite things and these dairy free alternatives are so delicious – I loved the caramel and hibiscus and the strawberry flavour, the almond and cashew milk gives a little twist on your classic yoghurt and they make such a perfect snack.

The Coconut Company – Coconut milk powder

Coconut milk is such a versatile ingredient and makes the most delicious curries, soups and stews but as it often comes in a tin, it can be a bit inconvenient. This coconut milk powder is honestly life changing as you only make up as much as you need for that recipe – for example I only needed about 50ml milk in my latest soup recipe so just mixed some of the powder with water and the result was amazing! The Coconut Company also do a range of coconut flour and sugar which are great for baking with!

Sweaty Betty new power collection

They’ve done it again, last year the power leggings were an absolute must have for any fitness lover and this years’ print is no different. I swear I see this print all over my feed at the moment as it’s such a must have, they are almost more of a style feature than a workout legging so perfect for heading out and about in! Great job Sweaty Betty!

What have you been loving this month?
